Mustangs volunteering for the Forest Service...

I returned from 4 days patrolling for the Forest Service in the Roosevelt Natl Forest (west of Ft.Collins). Since more than a decade my mustangs have climbed the ridges of the Rawah Wilderness, North Lone Pine, Jacks Gulch and the rest of the Roosevelt Natl Forest to support the Forest Service in educating and assisting the public recreating in our Natl. Forests. Initially meant to supplement the work of the rangers and due to economic cuts, shortage of manpower and limited resources, the volunteer mounted Patrol and the hiking volunteers have become an essential asset of the Forest Service saving hundreds of thousands of dollars annually.
