"HIGH" DESERT SABINO - Nevada Feral sire of Merketide/Silhouette

The work is never done. Once we have a proper census of the horses in the respective 188 Horse Management areas, decisions about size, genetic viability and character of herds have to be revisited. Less is more....Here is a BLM stud integrated into the program of the Cayuse Ranch in Oshoto, founded by Bob Brislawn in 1957 to prevent the extermination by all wild horse herds across the country. After the passing of the Federal Protection Act in 1971 (be aware that the mustang is the ONLY wild animal protected through an ACT of CONGRESS) the responsibility of Management was delegated to the BUREAU of LAND MANAGEMENT...to this day they claim that they are a land management entity not a horse management agency...
